Frequently Asked Questions
The Arcade Collection is Showerwall’s range of slatted timber-effect laminate wall panels, designed to bring the look of real wood into bathrooms without the maintenance. Each panel features black shadow lines between the slats for a realistic textured finish, making Arcade an ideal alternative to tiles or timber cladding for modern shower walls. As part of Showerwall’s laminate collection, these laminate shower panels combine a stylish timber-effect finish with the durability and easy maintenance needed in bathrooms.
Arcade is available in three timber-effect colours: Oak, Walnut and Grey Oak. Each décor offers a natural wood appearance while providing the durability and easy maintenance expected from quality laminate wall panels. Coordinating trims are available in Bright Silver, Satin Silver, Matt Black and Brushed Gold.
Arcade panels are designed to be installed with other Arcade and Tile Collection panels. As they are slightly less thick than Proclick panels from other collections, they aren’t compatible for direct side-by-side installation with most other Showerwall decors. If you’re combining collections, our team can recommend the best solution before you order.
Yes. Arcade laminate shower panels offer the look of premium slatted timber without grout, sealing or the upkeep of real wood. Installation is typically quicker than tiling, and the smooth waterproof surface is much easier to clean, making Arcade laminate wall panels a stylish, low-maintenance choice for modern shower walls.
Arcade laminate wall panels are suitable for shower enclosures, bath surrounds and feature bathroom walls. They’re also popular in cloakrooms, utility rooms and other interior spaces where you want the look of timber slats with the durability of waterproof wall panels.
Yes. Arcade laminate shower panels only need a soft cloth and a non-abrasive cleaner to keep them looking their best. With no grout lines to scrub, they’re much easier to maintain than traditional tiled shower walls.
No. Showerwall panels are designed to be installed vertically and cannot be installed horizontally or on a ceiling. The main reason is the weight of the panels. When installed horizontally, the bottom panel would be under pressure from the panels above it. Additionally, ceiling installation is not possible, as the adhesive would need to support the weight of the panel while holding it upside down, which it is not designed to do. This applies to all Showerwall collections. For the best results, panels should always be installed in accordance with our installation guide.
