Acrylic
All decors from the Acrylic Collection are manufactured from a 4mm thick acrylic sheet that is rear printed to create a polished glass-like finish. This material is 100% waterproof and therefore it does not require any trims; panels are simply joined together using sealant.
Panel Sizes
Acrylic Collection panels measure 2400mm in height, and are available in either 896mm* or 1200mm widths.
* Note that Book-matched designs are supplied in packs of 2 x 1200mm panels only.

Sealant
Translucent Silicone Sealant should be used to adhere acrylic panels to the wall as well as seal the joins between panels. We recommend that Showerwall’s own tried and tested brand of sealant is used for the effective fitting of the Acrylic product.

Now included as standard with every acrylic panel, this kit equips your qualified installer with everything required to achieve a flawless, professional finish while improving consistency, minimising errors, and ensuring every panel performs exactly as intended.
Each Kit contains the following:
Anti-bacterial Cleaner
Showerwall is more hygienic and easier to maintain than
tiles. The nonporous surface provides excellent protection
against bacteria, especially in the areas between tiles that are
traditionally grouted.
Showerwall Anti-bacterial cleaner kills germs and keeps hard
surfaces clean without scratching and is recommended for the
optimum life and performance of your Showerwall panel.
Abrasive cleaners and bleaches must not be used on Showerwall panelling. Sealant needs to be replaced at regular
intervals – failure to do so may cause water ingress and
subsequent panel damage.

Acrylic installations are simpler than Laminate in terms of accessories, since there are no trims to buy. Every panel comes with its own installation kit included as standard, so you’ll have exactly what you need for each panel you fit. Each kit contains:
- Translucent Silicone Sealant (x3) – a high-grab, moisture-resistant silicone used to bond and seal the panel at its joints, corners and perimeter edges, creating a durable, watertight finish.
- Double-Sided Adhesive Pads (x12) – provide temporary positioning support and immediate hold while the silicone cures, helping ensure accurate alignment and reducing slip during fitting.
- Alcohol Surface Preparation Wipes (x2) – used to remove dust and grease from the back of the panel before installation, promoting optimal adhesion.
Together, these give you everything needed to properly bond, position and seal Showerwall’s acrylic shower wall panels.

Yes. Showerwall’s guarantee may be invalidated when their own branded adhesive and sealant products are used during installation, so switching to an alternative sealant to save money can invalidate cover if a problem occurs later. It’s worth using the specified products throughout, even on smaller jobs, to keep the guarantee intact and ensure your shower walls are installed correctly.
