Frequently Asked Questions

The Tile Collection sits within the Laminate range from Showerwall, built to bring the exact look of tiling to a bathroom wall without the actual tiling process. Each decor is designed with careful attention to the detail of real tile finishes, from Herringbone through to large-format stone and marble, giving you the visual impact of tiling with the practical benefits of shower wall panels. As laminate wall panels, Tile Collection designs offer a stylish alternative to traditional tiles while helping to simplify bathroom installation and maintenance.

The Tile Collection features four tile styles, each with its own look and its own practical benefit for shower walls. Herringbone uses a classic zigzag lay-up pattern that adds texture and movement to the wall. Chevron forms a continuous angled V pattern, and like the large format tiles, it has the groutline built directly into the ProClick joins, so the panels fit together with no visible gaps. Large Format Tile offers a clean, oversized look for a more contemporary finish, also benefiting from that built-in groutline at the ProClick joins. Woodgrain, shown in the Katla Natural finish, brings a realistic timber texture to the wall for a warmer, natural feel.

Yes, with one exception. Every decor in the Tile Collection features a true-to-life embossed grout line, giving the panel the same visual detail as laid tiles while remaining a single, grout-free surface underneath. This is one of the details that sets the collection apart from a flat printed wall panels, creating the appearance of tiled shower walls without the need for individual tiles and grout.

Tile Collection decors are exclusively available on a Plywood core in Proclick format, measuring 600mm wide, the same specification used across the Arcade Collection. At 10.2mm thick, panels are slightly slimmer than the rest of the Laminate range, and the Proclick joint lets panels click together for a continuous run with no visible trims. This makes Tile Collection laminate shower panels a practical option where a seamless finish is wanted across wider shower walls.

The large tile decors are designed to mimic two popular tile formats, 600x300mm and 600x600mm, so the scale of the pattern reads correctly on a bathroom wall rather than looking stretched or miniaturised. This makes the collection well suited to bathrooms where a bigger, more contemporary tile look is wanted, while the large-format designs provide the visual impact of tiles across shower walls. The result is a practical alternative in laminate shower panels for those who want the appearance of large-format tiling.

No. Showerwall panels are designed to be installed vertically and cannot be installed horizontally or on a ceiling. The main reason is the weight of the panels. When installed horizontally, the bottom panel would be under pressure from the panels above it. Additionally, ceiling installation is not possible, as the adhesive would need to support the weight of the panel while holding it upside down, which it is not designed to do.This applies to all Showerwall collections. For the best results, panels should always be installed in accordance with our installation guide.
